Akindeyah’s First Solo Show ✨🎶
The Wavy Fam is outside this week! On Tuesday, September 2nd (7 PM), our very own Akindeyah is stepping onto the stage for his first-ever solo performance, joining the Breaking Sound NYC lineup at Brooklyn Music Kitchen in Clinton Hill.
We’ve been cheering Akindeya on for a year now and are extremely proud of this new chapter. We loved his performance at our very first Wavys Open Mic last year at Radicle Wine. Akindeyah’s sound has always carried soul, intention, and community, and now he’s bringing it directly to New York’s live music scene, backed by the energy of the Wavy family.

He’ll be sharing the stage with a stacked lineup of buzzing artists — Minju Michelle Lee, Dan Blum, Same Mistakes, and Tonic Horse — each bringing their own flavor to the night. Together, this Breaking Sound showcase is designed to spotlight emerging talent you’ll definitely want to say you saw before they blew up.
