ALOK to be honored at The Wavys 2024

As a non-binary writer, performer, and fashion icon, ALOK has continuously challenged norms and expanded the boundaries of self-expression. Their advocacy for gender non-conformity and racial justice has had a profound impact on communities worldwide, inspiring meaningful dialogue and promoting inclusivity in art and beyond.

The Kristyn Potter Award will be presented to ALOK during the upcoming Wavy Awards ceremony on September 14th at The Abrons Arts Center Playhouse Theatre in NYC by industry trailblazers Michaela Jordan from Golden Poppy Music and artist and author Elana Low. The event will gather leading voices in the music and entertainment community to celebrate diversity and honor excellence in the music industry.
