Contraforma's "Burn (The Children are Still Dead)" Nominated for Song for a Cause

There’s nothing like an electric cello to make you really feel the impact of a song. Contraforma has consistently impressed the whole Wavy team with banger after banger of on-point-culturally-relevant truth bombs of instrumentals. Check out the new music video for "Burn (The Children are Still Dead)," which has been nominated for Song for a Cause. The CHILDREN’S NAMES!! This music video is so well down and really sheds light on the brutal reality kids are facing because of war. The visuals are very wavy, too — light reflecting off a guitar pickguard onto the wall.

Contraforma shared that trying to put into words what’s happening to these children just doesn’t do it justice. They’ve disabled comments to keep the focus on what really matters: no child’s death is justified. Every single one is an entire world lost.

Fun fact: Contraforma performed at the Wavys in 2023, and now they’re using their voice to call for peace. Everyone should watch this video and catch that wavy, real talk message — it’s not too late to end the war and let the kids live.
