Kisos Unveils Haunting New Single "SLUDGE"
New York, NY – [4/21/25] – We’re absolutely obsessed with "SLUDGE"! Wavy Fave and genre-bending, multi-instrumentalist, DIY artist Kisos just dropped his latest single, and it’s a vibe. "SLUDGE" is a raw, haunting deep-dive into the emotional chaos of toxic relationships, and it’s already got us in a chokehold. Out now, the track is a 100% solo effort, blending boiling synths, skittering flutes, and heavy guitars to create a soundscape that’s as brutal as it is intimate.
"SLUDGE" serves as a bridge between Kisos’ previous project, Autophagia (a painful, transformative rebirth), and his highly anticipated debut album, slated for release in 2026. The song delves into the artist’s personal struggles with manipulation and self-sacrifice, as he explains: "I hate to make others feel rejected, so instead of cutting off a toxic person, I force myself into jagged shapes to avoid hurting their feelings. Meanwhile, their depression, delusion, and anger pick their way through my skin until I lose who I am in their emotional sludge."
Kisos has been making waves in the music scene since his debut, earning features in major publications like Billboard, PAPER Magazine, and Atwood Magazine. He’s also an ambassador for the nonprofit It Gets Better and co-hosts with Genius. In 2020, he founded QUEERANTINE, a digital showcase uplifting LGBTQ+ artists during the pandemic, which later evolved into an 8-city tour along the East Coast.
