It’s no secret that we’re big fans of this duo at The Wavys! We are so proud of Outer Shapes' sophomore EP "TOOTHACHE" as it marks a bold evolution in the duo's musical journey, delivering a powerful blend of roaring guitars, infectious beats, and intimate storytelling.

Released on November 15th, the EP showcases five compelling tracks that demonstrate the band's artistic growth. Take a listen:

The EP, which follows their debut "Senses" (winner of Album of the Year at the Wavy Awards), is satisfying in it’s pop splendor and lyrical insights pushing boundaries with the Outer Shapes unique sonic landscape we love.

Lead singer Laura Shkouratoff and multi-instrumentalist C Santos craft a raw, unfiltered exploration of emotions often left unspoken, particularly from queer and non-binary perspectives.

Standout track "I'M NOT HOME" exemplifies the EP's emotional depth, featuring textured vocals and creative synth work that capture the complexity of guilt and distance.

We definitely listened to The More the Sad the Better multiple times. Highly recommend!
