Wavy Nominee Rivita Set to Release Debut Album "Snow Angels"
In a very wavy announcement, 2023 and 2024 Wavy Awards nominee Rivita is dropping her highly anticipated debut album, "Snow Angels," TODAY!
This release marks a significant milestone for the rising Wavy star, who has already been on our radar as an emerging talent in the industry with her unique sound and captivating performances.
"Snow Angels" is a genre-defying collection of 13 tracks that promises to take you on an emotional journey through Rivita's life experiences. From the pop-infused banger "Too Close" to the introspective ballads "Someone Else's Arms" and "Lonely with Someone," the album showcases Rivita's versatility as both a songwriter and producer.
What sets this album apart is its collaborative nature, featuring over 20 musicians from around the globe. Highlights include a soaring guitar solo by Ukrainian virtuoso Vitaliy Tkachuk on "Yet Another Day" and a funky bass line courtesy of Paul Tornbohm on "Speed Limit."
The title track, "Snow Angels," is particularly poignant, reflecting on Rivita's journey from a wide-eyed university student in London to a seasoned artist finding self-acceptance.
"This song sums up all the traveling I did, going back home on vacations and watching things change and all the places blending into one inside my head," Rivita shares.
