Wavy’s 2024 host M the Myth finally drops fan fave Pin-Up Boy

The Wavalicious emcee serving electro-pop sensation, M the Myth, who graced the Wavy stage by not only performing Pin-Up Boy, but hosting for the first time is set to ignite the music scene AGAIN with their latest single "Pin-up Boy," out today! This hypnotic blend of electro-pop and EDM marks a bold step forward in M's artistic journey, pushing the envelope of sexual liberation and self-expression.

Crafted entirely by M the Myth - from writing to production, mixing, and mastering - "Pin-up Boy" is a sonic tapestry woven with thick, dirty bass hooks, saturated guitar-like vocal melodies, and organic Indian percussion. The track builds to an EDM drop that's sure to set dance floors ablaze, while metallic vocals in double time create a mesmerizing, trance-like atmosphere.

"This song is about sexual liberation, freedom of expression, and self-empowerment," M explains. "It helps me believe in my own beauty and the beauty of my body. Too often, people hide or judge their desires. In this song, I've broken free from self-judgment and embraced my truth.

"As a trans non-binary artist, M the Myth aims to challenge traditional gender norms through their music. "Even though I sing, 'I'm a Pin-up Boy,' I know I am so much more than any label, and we all are," they assert. "This song is an affirmation for anyone to break free from the toxic addiction to patriarchy. It's about letting go, breaking gender boundaries, and flipping the script.

"M the Myth's rising star continues to ascend, with accolades including the Stanford Alumni Artist Grant and a feature on Billboard's Queer Necessities playlist. As co-founder of Blonde Records and Artist Management, they're also paving the way for more inclusive representation in the music industry with their work for The Wavys.
